mifold Grab-and-Go Booster Review + Giveaway!

My family travels often. My children are 6 and 9 but only weigh 50lbs each. When we travel, we need to bring booster seats along. This makes packing a little more cumbersome and unpleasant. For years, I wished someone would invent a smaller, more portable booster seat.

Enter the mifold Grab-and-Go Booster. This amazing booster is the first of it’s kind. It folds up small, is lightweight and meets all safety standards. Best part, it’s now available in Canada.

I like that its safe, easy to use and well made. I also like that this seat is designed for a large age range. When my daughter is finished with it, my son will be able to use it for many years.

We will be bringing this booster on our upcoming trip. I’ll be putting it in my carry-on and have it ready to go when we jump in an Uber at the airport. I will also be sending this booster with my child when she goes on school field trips and sleepovers.

I really appreciate that the mifold booster will make our life so much easier!

  1. I love that it doesnt look like a typical booster seat. My 9 year old would love it. And it would prop him up higher so he can see outside better!

  2. I would love to try one out, I’ve used some other travel boosters with my kids and haven’t loved them. I like how compact and portable the mi-fold is.

  3. I would love to try one out, I’ve used some other travel boosters with my kids and haven’t loved them. I like how compact and portable the mi-fold is.

  4. I’m not totally sold on the fit on some kids &/or in some vehicles, from what I’ve seen, but its a great option to have.

  5. The small size for travel is what intrigues me. No hauling large booster seats to the airport and checking them at the gate. Parents have enough stuff to deal with when travelling.

  6. I want to try one! As a child restraint safety technician and a police officer, I’m very curious to see one in person!

  7. This would be perfect for spares as between inlaws and husband…they always forget the seats. This way…it can stay in everyone’s car compartment

  8. Its so compact that it can fit in an overnight bag. Just opened up a world of sleepover and playdate possibilities without the hassle of a big bulky seat but still the same safelty peace of mind. Can’t wait to get my hands on one!!

  9. I bought one for my 6 year old mostly because of an upcoming trip. She’s 45 lbs but quite tall for her age. I found it small and compact however my daughter found it difficult to do up on her own. I also found that due to her size it would shift while driving and fold on itself so not staying where it was designed to stay. I worry it is not as safe as it claims because it does shift out of place. The one end folds to make a kind of back to the booster, which the instructions say is wrong. If they were to fix that I would be much happier with it.

    1. Good observation and points Shelley. My daughter is 10 and has mastered how to get buckled in it. I have noticed it can move but the belt doesn’t move which I think is the most important fact of this booster.

  10. I love that it can easily switch between my vehicle and my husband’s and also my mom’s!

  11. I love the quality of the design and that it can be used over a long period of time. Thank you for the review and the giveaway!

  12. I like that it can stay in my truck and it’s there when needed . I only have to have one when I have munchkin with me.

  13. I love how small and portable it is! I have twins so I’m always on the lookout for products that make life easier. This would be awesome to have and will make changing from one vehicle to the other a breeze!

  14. What interests me the most is it’s portability and that it can fit in a backpack! That’s awesome!

  15. I love that my 9 years old is not embarrassed that she is still in a booster seat, with this seat. It’s not noticeable, big or bulky.

  16. I’m very intrigued by this seat! It would make my life way easier as I can’t fit a conventional booster in my center seat and must always use third row seating when I have more than 2 kids. I have been researching it since before they came out can’t wait to see more reviews on it.

  17. I am most interested in how easily it can be taken on vacation, and stored in cars for kids to travel occasionally (grandparents, extra friends going in our car, etc). I can’t wait for my 6 yr old to hit 40 lbs 😉

  18. I am a grandparent so I don’t really want a booster seat that takes up room. This one, I can fold and store in the backseat.

  19. I like the convenience of this seat. That it is easy to move from one vehicle to another and very portable.

  20. Anything that makes travelling with kids 10x easier like this booster seat will is golden!!!! We’d love to try one!

  21. I think the compact size is probably the best feature for us, especially considering we’re going on a vacation to Europe this summer! I also like how it is so discreet when in use-my nearly 9 year old son isn’t too thrilled about sitting in what he calls a baby seat!

  22. I do like how convenient this is but I really am not too sure about how safe it is and it does have to be really good for such a precious cargo.

  23. i would like putting it in my daughters back pack so if she goes to a friends after school she can just pull it out of her back pack.

  24. It’s small and portable, I have two granddaughters and would easily be transer from their car to mine. My oldest granddaughter would weight enougt to start using it this summer.

  25. I love the size and how adjustable it is! We have several nephews and a niece, and neighbourhood kids, and we want to be able to transport them safely without having to constantly bring booster seats everywhere. This packs up and is ‘big kid’ feeling, too! No one would be ashamed to use one of these.

  26. it is so small people with multiple children can bring along more than one and if is to compact I would leave one in my parents car as well

  27. The mifold Grab and Go Booster has so many awesome features, it’s lightweight, compact, portable, easy to use and comfortable.

  28. I love that it is so convenient to take on a trip! I looked into getting one from a car rental place and the price was ridiculous! This is such a better option.

  29. I love that it is so light and compact! It would be perfect for us to have for our second vehicle, or to go with grandparents on visits so we’re not having to swap our regular seat in and out all the time 🙂 Thanks so much for introducing me to this brand – perfect timing, too!

  30. What interests me most is the ease with which you could take this on vacation – airplanes, passing to grandpa, etc.

  31. What interests me the most about the Mifold is its tiny size! I currently have one child in a booster and one in a car seat. Lugging them both for travelling is cumbersome – would absolutely be delighted to get rid of one big piece of luggage! And then there are all the play dates, birthday parties, days spent with the grandparents, going to school activities etc that require lugging the big booster around. How awesome it would be to pop the Mifold into a bag and send it along!! And on the days I have an extra child in my care, it is really tight to fit the required seats across the back of my car (and I can only do it in one of my cars, so I have to make sure my husband takes the right car those days), so it would be awesome to put my oldest in the Mifold and have a more comfortable fit for everyone. I would be so excited to have this product!!

  32. Omg!! Yes. Exactly what you said about not having enough room is my problem. When you have children you already have to pack and bring so much extra stuff on road trips but this would be so convenient and save so much space. Very innovative!! Great idea and terrific looking new product!!
